Specialized Programs

Alternative Programs

When students cannot find success in a regular classroom setting, Covington Independent Public Schools finds ways for them to continue and complete their education in our alternative programs. Our Covington Adult High School is for students 16 years and older who may have dropped out of school and may be a few credits shy of completing their high school requirements. Students who attend the adult high school go at their own pace. When they complete the program they receive their high school diploma.

Students who have behaviorial issues or who may have been suspended from school attend the Transformational Learning Center.  The district also offers services for students who have been expelled from school. For more information, please contact the schools below.
