Breakfast is served every school day and is provided free of charge to all students in Covington Independent Public Schools. We encourage all students to participate daily to start their day off right with a nutritious meal.

Covington Independent Public Schools is now participating in the Community Eligibility Option provision.  This allows all of our schools to provide meal service to all students at no charge, regardless of economic status.  This program will ensure that no student goes hungry.

Summer Feeding Program
Covington Independent Public Schools is dedicated to the health and well being of our students.

Covington Schools participate in the School Breakfast/Lunch program and the Summer Feeding program.  In addition to our school year program, we provide meals to children throughout the summer in a variety of settings including all summer program school sites, city parks and pools, as well as the Salvation Army and many local churches.  We want children to be healthy and nourished during the summer so that they return to school focused and ready to learn.  If you would like more information about the summer food program, please feel free to contact us.
