Ms. Chuhran Named Golden Apple Award Winner

Ms. Chuhran

Congratulations to Donna Chuhran on being awarded a 2018 Golden Apple Award. Ms. Chuhran is the Special Education Co-Lead for Glenn O. Swing Elementary and works with all teachers and support staff to meet the needs of her students. She receives continual Autism training and provides Autism resources for the entire district. Ms. Chuhran focuses much of her attention on meeting the needs of her students outside the classroom by providing before and after-school assistance such as breakfast, gardening club, and computer coding club. She also provides behavioral support to students from other classrooms that need a break or a place to go for a behavioral reward. In her building, Ms. Chuhran is known as a true team player.
