Track Team Success

Holmes Middle School

Congratulations to Holmes Middle School Track and Field Team on hosting the first middle school track meet ever in the Holmes new sports complex. The Bulldogs finished in second place with 24 medals.

Others are taking notice of the track members and their successes. The letter below says it all.

"I have coached track at Conner Middle School the past 6 years and I can say that your middle school track team is the most exciting team that I have ever watched run. Your kids are not only one of the best performing teams, they are an exemplar of sportsmanship. As each athlete performs, the whole team is by the track cheering and encouraging the athlete. They are so positive not only to their own team but so respectful to all the other athletes as well. Your coach is such a tremendous inspiration and you can tell that he treats each of these kids as they were his own. He along with your team shine with so much charisma that I find myself cheering for your kids as well as my own.

I wish that all sport teams could come watch your team to see how a team should function. They are running to continuously improve, they are encouraging, they are respectful, they listen, they run because they enjoy the sport. Thank you for having such a wonderful sports program with your track team. Your coach and kids are top notch. NKY athletics are better because of teams like your track team."

Go Bulldogs!
