Covington Schools FRYSCs featured at statewide conference

Covington's Family Resource and Youth Services Centers coordinators and advocates

Family Resource and Youth Services Centers coordinators and advocates from Covington Schools presented today, Tuesday, July 18, 2017, during the statewide conference entitled “Victory Over Violence.”   The conference, sponsored the Cabinet for Health and Family Services, was held at the Northern Kentucky Convention Center in Covington. 

Playing off the theme “More than a Caterer,” Covington FRYCs discussed ways they engage staff, use resources, initiatives and volunteers to help families and students to be successful and to overcome barriers.  Congratulations and thanks for representing Covington well – Shelly Duncan, Holmes High School; Renata Watts, Holmes Middle; Denise Brown, Sixth District; Kerry McHugh, John G; Marilynn Arnold, Ninth District; Marshelle Blackwell, Latonia;  Stephanie Fieler, Biggs; Holly Dickens Sixth District & Holmes Campus, Wanda Hoeter, Biggs, and Sarah Hunt, Glenn O.
