Panel Discussion

The Hate U Give

The Holmes High School Book Club is reading Angie Thomas' "The Hate U Give," a novel about an ordinary girl in extraordinary circumstances addressing issues of racism and police violence with intelligence, heart, and unflinching honesty.

The group will host a panel discussion open to students, parents, and community members to discuss important issues in today's society—racism and prejudice. Panelists include a lawyer, police officer, school administrator, college professor, and Holmes High School alumnus.

Join this important conversation on Monday, October 30 at 4 p.m. at Holmes High School Library.

Please contact Ashley McClure, Holmes High School Community Learning Center Coordinator, at ashley.mcclure@covington.kyschools.us or 859.655.9545 x16352 with any questions.
