Career and Technical Education/College and Career Readiness
What is CTE?
CTE stands for Career and Technical Education. In years past this was often referred to as Vocational School, but that term is no longer used. CTE provides students with skills necessary for a successful transition to postsecondary education or work and a desire for life-long learning in a global society. It is a critical component in meeting the needs of students in academic achievement, career exploration, career preparation, and leadership development.
