Adopt A Class Foundation (AAC) is an area non-profit [501C(3)] mentoring program designed to facilitate personal, sustained connections between members of the business community and students enrolled pre-kindergarten through 8th grades. Adopt A Class helps establish mentor relationships with the purpose of providing positive role models and developing practical and social skills for the students and building the culture of philanthropy and teamwork for the business or community group.

Schools participating in the AAC program have significantly high levels of poverty where most children participate in free lunch programs. Poverty creates more than the obvious financial strain for children. It can also create an inconsistency that prevents proper development in mental, physical, social, and emotional health.
