Early Childhood Screenings

To qualify for the preschool program, children must reside in the Covington Independent School District and meet one or more of the following criteria:

  • Be financially eligible (160% poverty level) and be 4 years-old by August 1st of the school year
  • Three and four year olds may qualify as a child with an educational disability (delay in one or more areas of development)
