This morning, (Friday, September 30), a student from Covington Independent Public Schools falsely reported that she was attacked by a clown while on her way to school.  After being interviewed by district officials, the student admitted that she made up the story.

Because of the attention that this issue has generated, we would like to emphasize that there was no clown and no attack whatsoever.  If you should have questions or concerns, please call central office, 859-392-1000.
