1,008 backpacks stuffed with new school supplies will be given away in drive-thru appointments August 14-15 at Be Concerned, 1100 Pike St., Covington. If more than 1,008 students sign up, winners will be chosen by random drawing in early August. Winners will be emailed or texted pick-up times for their kids’ backpacks the week of August 9.

Please note that parents will have to register this year for the backpack giveaway.
