Covington Independent Public Schools has made the difficult decision to close schools Thursday and Friday, January 6 and 7, due to the high number of staff COVID-19 related illnesses.

We hope this time will allow our employees to get well and return to the important work of teaching and learning on Monday, January 10, 2022.
