Dear Parents/Guardians:
To give our students and staff an opportunity to support the Holmes Girls’ Basketball Team in its quest in the Sweet 16 Basketball Tournament, the district will release early on Friday, March 11, 2016. Dismissal will be as follows:
Elementary Schools – 12 p.m.
Middle School - 12:15 p.m.
High School - 12:20 p.m.
Please note that all after school activities, including Community Learning Centers, will be canceled Friday. All district offices will close at 12:30 p.m.
It is an exciting time in our district. It is the first time since 2002 that the Lady Bulldogs earned a berth in the state tournament. The team won in the first round Wednesday night and has advanced to the Elite Eight. Holmes will play at 1:30 p.m. Friday at the BB&T Arena at Northern Kentucky University. Come out and support the Lady Bulldogs!
