Instructional Assistants: The minimum requirements for these positions are (a) 60 college credit hours acquired through two years of study at an institution of higher education, (b) an associate’s degree or higher, or (c) successful achievement on the Kentucky Para-educator Assessment. Applicants failing to meet these requirements will not be considered for employment.

  • Covington qualifies for the Teacher Loan Forgiveness Program.
    Under this program, individuals who teach full time for five consecutive, complete academic years in elementary and secondary schools that serve low-income families and meet other qualifications may be eligible for forgiveness of up to a combined total of $17,500 in principal and interest on their FFEL and/or Direct Loan program loans.
