Holmes High School competed in its first Unified track meet on Thursday at Scott High School.
Unified Sports combines students with and without intellectual disabilities on the same team for sports training and competition. The Unified track and field teams consist of an approximately equal number of athletes with intellectual disabilities (Unified Student-Athletes) and athletes without intellectual disabilities (Unified Student Partners). The teams are co-ed and the competition is co-ed.
The Bulldogs received many medals throughout the meet.
