Students were all smiles as they took to Meinken Field on Sunday for the 2023 Baseball Jamboree. Covington elementary students learned fundamental ball skills from Holmes baseball and softball players and coaches. The students took turns at different stations to work on hitting, fielding, throwing and base running. Ninety students attended the free event and took home a hat and wristbands provided by the Cincinnati Reds Community Fund. The perfect weather also allowed for a special visit by Mr. Red.
