In Kentucky, each school has a council composed of the principal, elected teachers and elected parents who make many of the most important decisions about how their school will work. The parent members of the council are elected by parents. They will receive training and will serve from July 1, 2019 - June 30 2021. If you know someone who would be a good candidate, please encourage them to run!!
Nominations are due to Shelly Duncan in the Holmes High School YSC no later than 12:00PM on May 6, 2019.
The election will be held May 13, 2019, between 8:00AM - 10:00AM and 4:00PM - 6:00PM in the Holmes High School Main Office.
Results will be announced on May 14, 2019, at 8:30AM in the Holmes High School Main Office.
If you have a child enrolled at Holmes High School for the 2019-2020 school year you are eligible to vote!! This includes parents, step-parents, foster parent and legal guardians.
