Camp Covington Summer Enrichment Program is coming to a close. The last day is Friday, July 19. We've had a fantastic 5 weeks of programming that will be capped off with a field trip the Movie Theater to see The Lion King. Over the 5 weeks students attended field trips to the Cincinnati Museum Center, The Florence Freedom, The Latonia Water Park, Northern Kentucky University Haile Planetarium and The Covington Library. Students kept their academic skills sharp with daily lessons in English Language Arts, Math and STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) and worked on their physical fitness in Gym class. They also enjoyed animal presentations from Wump Muckets Puppet Show, The Cincinnati Zoo, Raptor, Inc and Sunrock Farm and participated in other enrichment activities like gardening from Skool-Aid and the Book Mobile from the Kenton County Library. Check out the John G. Carlisle facebook page for more pictures from our 5 week adventure!
