The Northern Kentucky Health Department is scheduled to visit John G. Carlisle on Monday, September 23rd for the Dental Prevention Program. This program provides FREE Dental screenings to students in Kindergarten, First, Second and Fifth Grades. The following service are available:
Kindergarten: Dental assessment, fluoride varnish, dental cleaning and screening.
All other grades: Dental assessment, fluoride varnish, dental cleaning and dental sealants, as needed.
These dental processes are painless and require no shots. Students should not feel any discomfort. If the dental assessment determines the student needs follow up services from a dentist, the guardian will be notified and a referral provided.
If you would like your Kindergarten, First, Second or Fifth Grade student to participate in the Dental Prevention Program on September 23rd, you must turn in a completed registration form by Wednesday, September 18.
